"Very good location for shopping and sightseeing"
We stayed there for our 20th anniversary could not have treated any better. They went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable with our stay.Sofia was especially helpful in helping doing an on line check in with our flight even though she was busy at the front desk. The whole atmosphere of the hotel and the staff was outstanding. The staff at the terrace bar for breakfast was nothing short of outgoing and concerned.

We stayed for five nights and loved the little world inside the hotel, with all the lush vegetation, with good coffee and fruits available each morning, with the wine and cheese hour each evening, We sat outside our room at our little patio table and watched the birds flying around in the tree. (And we loved having a tree right there in the middle of the courtyard.) The room itself was very comfortable and beautiful. It was about a 20 minute walk to the beach across from the Capital, and a fun walk along streets with shops and restaurants. A 5 minute walk back behind the hotel took us through the city gates and down to the walk leading to El Morro. The location and services were all excellent.

"Perfect location"
The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is in the heart of Old San Juan, and there is do much to do within walking distance. It was a great choice for my husband, since we were gone most of the time. I would not recommend this hotel for those with children. It was freezing each night because the air conditioning is controlled by the staff. The room was small, and the bathroom was tiny. Some of the molding around the wall was peeling off too. Again, I would not bring my children here, but it's fine for adults who just need a clean place to sleep. The staff was nice, but slow with cleaning. We had to ask the front desk for clean towels both days.

"Artsy, eclectic and conveniently located!"
If you are looking for an authentic experience of Old San Juan then this hotel will put the finishing touch on your vacation. The hotel staff was very informative; they recommended great restaurants and areas to visit in the Old San Juan area. I also received an upgrade to a suite courtesy of the hotel. The hotel is also located in walking distance to authentic Puerto Rican restaurants and historic sites.

"Nice hotel in Old San Juan"
This is a great place to stay if you plan to explore Old San Juan. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, extremely convenient for sight seeing and have great food nearby. The antiqued look of the hotel and the decor is lovely. The roof top gives you a nice view of the surrounding and the suite we have also have a nice small balcony. The only thing we don't like is the water pressure of the shower is relatively low. Also if night noise is an issue, this is not the place you want to stay. We stayed on a Sunday night with a Carnival cruise ship docked so there were plenty of screaming in the street (we're on 3rd floor) of partying and drunken folks. Hotel staff is extremely helpful and efficient. Bed is comfortable.

Dorado is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Dorado, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Dorado hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
