The hotel smells bad so the staff constantly sprays this air freshener around that smells like bug spray..the towels r frayed and have holes in them..my single room was very small and so was the shower..there is a big hole by the front steps that is dangerous..8 steps to get into the hotel..the breakfast was OK.

We arrived early and the staff were very helpful, arranged to leave our luggage whilst we meandered around the area until check in time. Our room was adequate, it was certainly clean, maybe a little tired but we were not living in the room. We slept really well in the confortable beds. Small bathroom, but had all we needed with no problems at all. During our 2 night stay at The Apple Inn the staff were always helpful and friendly. Trams, buses, cafes and restaurants are all close by, as well as the beautiful Voldepark. The hotel also sits in a beautiful, leafy suburb and would definitely come and stay again.

Where do I start. First off. There is no lift/ elevator in this hotel. You are expected to carry a 50 lbs suitcase up 2-3 flights up a circular staircase. There was no A/C in our room. So we had to sleep with our window cracked open. The next day and following days I continued to breakout with bug bites all over my body. Bed Bug Bites!! Thank goodness it was for only one night. And to carry our luggage down those stairs the next morning, being mindful to be quiet as we had to leave early.

I want to thank the staff at The Delphi! They went above and beyond to help with railroad failures, ideas of where to go, and always a hello and a smile. I’m so happy I stumbled upon this hotel/townhouse rental. This will be my go to place to stay in Amsterdam. I highly recommend this to travelers because it’s a lovely area that is just a quick jump on the tram to get anywhere but yet you can easily find a great joint around the corner to eat, relax, and people watch. Thank you to the Delphi you helped my adventure in Amsterdam become a Fantastic one!! See you soon
