"Fantastic hotel and grounds, disappointing rooms"
Stayed here for a friends wedding recently for two nights. The hotel itself is fantastic, with amazing grounds where you can spend hours walking around with some fantastic scenery. The staff were friendly, the Stags Head bar was good with a decent range of drinks, especially if you like whisky. We had a good stay but our only bad point, especially considering the price we paid, was our hotel room. It was very small and dated. There were two plug sockets that were literally hanging by the wires on the wall. Shower was good though! Its not a cheap place to stay by any stretch and for the price we paid for the room we expected quite a bit more.

"Two night stay"
Room was a decent size double in a separate building from main hotel. The bed was comfortable, shower was adequate and décor was old fashioned. The windows are old single glazed units, but hotel is not on main street and is quiet. There is a small pool which was popular with families. Breakfast was very good, freshly cooked and good selection: Finnan Haddie with poached eggs a personal favourite.

"Nice friendly hotel"
I stayed for 2 nights and found the staff to be very friendly, the room and bed were very comfortable. The food was outstanding. Although the snug area which was very cosy could be bigger. If you are not eating at the hotel and it is busy there is no other area for you to sit as the bar area is also used to serve meals.

"Lovely Warm and Friendly Hotel"
My wife had been very busy at work & needed a relaxing weekend away from everyday stress. We were lucky, to get a booking, for Friday, Saturday & Sunday night, including a free breakfast, at the Rosemount Hotel, in Pitlochry at a very reasonable price. We were met by the owner, Keith & his wife, who welcomed us. Keith then showed us to our room, made sure the room was ok for us & ensured the heating was on. George was there, to greet us, when we came back at night after being out. We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel & would go back again. .

Red Brolly Inn

"Great little Inn"
Although not a large building, the Red Brolly Inn provided everything that we were wanting from our stay. Most the the accommodation in and around Pitlochry are the hotels, which tend to be very large and grand affairs, with 'large' room rates to match them. As we only wanted somewhere to sleep for the night, after visiting the Enchanted Forest, and had no use for a swimming pool or spa treatment, we found the Red Brolly Inn, and mostly due to the price and its location to Pitlochry, we booked in for the night. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you walk in through the front door you are made to feel welcome by the staff, who we more than helpful with any enquiry that we made. The room was very spacious, with a double bed, wardrobe and bedside cabinets available, Tea/Coffee facilities provided. We would highly recommend using the Red Brolly Inn, especially if you want a decent room with all the facilities provided, without having to pay for all the extra bits that you are unlikely to use.

Pitlochry is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Pitlochry, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Pitlochry hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
