We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, and chose mainly for its location, as it was in close proximity to the Milan Centrale station, which was important to us as we would be using Milan as our base and be travelling to Lake Como and Venice via train during our stay. The Duomo and City Centre is only 6 minutes away via the underground and very easy to get to. Upon arrival we were pleased to see the station is literally right opposite the hotel, 1 minute walk. Another bonus was there there were plenty of shops at the station, and a supermarket as well. There are also plenty of restaurants in the area. The hotel itself was very clean, modern and comfortable. The rooms were a bit on the small side but still enough. The breakfast selection was fairly average but also adequate, and the service was slightly slow even when it was fairly quiet within the restaurant.

The room in the hotel was quiet despite it's location near a busy cross roads.
The breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice and good value, booked in advance.
It is in a very good situation for exploring the city, the bus services and the airport connection.
The staff were always very helpful.

Stayed here three nights whilst attending a nearby festival. The hotel is modern, spacious and comfortable. The staff were excellent - genuinely friendly and helpful. The room was enormous, but rather stark - no pictures or artwork on the wall. But it had a balcony and a view across fields with horses. Very rural. Breakfast was okay; but dinner was really very good indeed. My only problem is to do with noise. There was a coach load of teenagers staying in the hotel one night, some of whom decided singing at 2am was acceptable. It sounded like they were in the room with me, such was the lack of sound insulation. But apart from that, a perfectly pleasant hotel.

Nice side of town, quiet with good restaurants. Good ski school literally just behind with handy shed to store boots and skis. Could do with a bit of an upgrade to the sauna area but great they have one.

From before I arrived at the hotel to when I left, I was amazed at the quality of the hotel and more importantly the staff. After booking the trip to travel from Innsbruck, which is the furthest of the airports serving Livigno, I needed help to try to find a cheap transfer to the hotel. After calling and speaking with Elena, I was provided with all the details i needed along with booking links and advice. Arriving at the hotel I received a very warm greeting and all the information I needed to begin my Ski experience. I am very impressed with the Alexander Charme, Hotel(Excellent), Staff(Excellent), Food(Excellent), Location(Excellent), Facilities(Excellent), Cleanliness(Excellent), On site Ski facilities(Excellent). They even made me a packed lunch as I had to leave for flight home at 2:15am.
I really cant say enough to recommend this hotel and hope I'm lucky enough to stay there again.
Amazing experience and a great example of what a hotel should be.
