"Baseball weekend"
This has been the best hotel we've stayed at over the last 3 years of attending Baseball NW. The hotel is very clean and had no "off putting" odor. Non-smoking and you can tell becasue it has no smoke smell of any kind. The breakfast is a bit on the more basic side, but good enough. They are a hotel....not a buffet. We would stay here again.

"good clean room"
I had a family reunion in the area and with the eclipse traffic expected for going south, I decided to get a room and head down early. Arrival and check in were great, the room was nice and clean, I liked the wood flooring over carpet. No fridge in my room (I had a single) but that was fine. The only thing I can say is the walls are thin, you hear everything. ear plugs would have been a good choice, but I needed to be able to hear my alarm and phone . (I had my phone turned down so I didn't disturb others) I thing that was a huge bonus for me, was I was able to get my long run in in the morning, in an area that was new to me. It was very nice, and I was able to get a shower before heading to the reunion.

"Worth getting off the interstate for this hotel"
Comfortable beds, wonderful, deep claw foot tub and shower, plush bathrobes, ground-source heat pump in room so we could control the temperature. Loved the rooftop deck where we could drink our own wine and look out on the park, fridge available for guests. If you like historic lodgings, this is a gem. The owner showed us to our room and gave us a tour of the restored ballroom with original hardwood floors, stained glass, but new wiring and plumbing throughout. We ate at the two in-house restaurants. Branch and had an outstanding dinner-- seared scallops and baseball sirloin were cooked to perfection and for a lot less cost than we would have paid in Seattle or Portland. Atmosphere is great too. Breakfast at the Berry Fields was also outstanding.

"Lovely motel with a view of the lake!"
We stayed at Lakeview Inn in July of 2017. My wife had to work remotely that week, so it was crucial that we had a place that was quiet with good Internet. Fortunately, this had both! The view of the lake from our room was a special bonus!

Very clean hotel with extremely friendly staff. The hotel serves a wonderful hot breakfast, appetizers at dinner time, and warm cookies every night. The hotel is in close proximity to many good places to hike or eat out as well. Highly recommend!

"Good jump off point to Mt St Helens"
We stayed in the family room, with two queen beds and a pull out sofa. The sofa was very uncomfortable, a hard bar in the back, the mattress is much too thin. The room is spacious and spotless, and the staff friendly. Some noise from the nearby highway. A good expresso shack just outside the hotel for a quick breakfast (if you miss the one offered by the hotel).

"Convenient location for KITG Soccer Tournament."
Hotel check-in was easy and quick. Our hotel room was clean. Unfortunately the room was tight for four people and the the beds were very small and difficult to sleep two people. We stayed in room #250. We liked being upstairs, but the air conditioner was noisy and car alarms kept going off in the middle of the night both nights we stayed. We were fortunate that the rooms right next to ours had quiet people, because the walls were thin. Other guests were louder further down from us. The outdoor pool was clean and enjoyable to swim in. We also appreciated the coffee in the lobby and the ice machine.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
