Hotel Van Zandt was great! All aspects of the hotel are fantastic. The cafe was a great spot in the morning for coffee and breakfast tacos. The bar was lively in the evenings. The restaurant was good. The pool was really nice and the gym was better than most hotels. My room was also very nice. Will stay again for sure.

This is a great hotel or aparthotel. Spacious and modern rooms, everything feels so new. We loved the details of everything from the picked furniture and kitchen. High quality appliances and finishes. I wished there was a restaurant or kitchen in the lobby. They offered pastries and drinks though. Including free adult beverages from 4-8pm. I wished the parking was free. We paid about $35 a day to park; it was very empty so the process was simple.

Such a beautiful, eclectic Inn. The room and outside area was spotless, the coffee station and drink area was a great plus. The staff is very friendly and on the spot if there is an issue. I highly recommend staying here while in Austin. It’s just a short walk to 6th street and we ended up walking everywhere the entire time with ease. Also, for me personally the comfort of the bed is a big deal, and their bed was very comfortable. Stay here and you will not be disappointed!

Amazing amazing amazing. Tucked away on one of the busiest areas of S ATX, was this gem of a stay. Photos of the courtyard and especially the room don’t do the vibe justice. The whole feel of this place was private through and through. Well designed with thought and purpose, they did a great job compacting such a beautiful space into an area that didn’t feel small with tall walls and shotgun style room that felt very very comfortable This is my stay now every time I come back to Austin. And shoutout to the staff, yall did right by me. Thank you!!

The hotel rooms needs a major upgrade - soiled carpets to stained furnitures!

Not as advertised. Pool closed. Apartment had broken furniture, including the desk office chair, that my 5 year old sat in the night we arrived that literally fell over because multiple feet were bent.. Apartment is right next to trash room. Hallway smelled of narcotics and apartment had strong cleaning chemical smell. Cheap pack and play, no crib as advertised. Couch full of stains. Unit was dirty upon arrival. including someone elses hair in one of the showers. Oven still had old food in it that was burning when we tried to pre-heat and use. Pictures on wall slanted. Clock hand fell off when we walked in the door for the very first time. Just a bunch of extremely cheap furnishings. Brought up concerns to owner and they were not pleasant. We were never looking for money back, but rather to simply bring these items to their attention. Had we caused any of these items ourselves, we would have cleaned them or dealt with them, but to say we were disappointed in the condition of the apartment upon check in, would be understating how bad it was. Thankfully we didnt have to spend much time in the apartment, it was not worth the amount spent.

My family and I had a great time at Colton House. Our original room had a small problem, but Sila was quick to get us into a comparable room as soon as she could. All of the staff members that we encountered were top notch. The pool was always clean and a perfect temperature. Simona’s, the attached bar and cafe, was really great and became a daily visit for us. Adam and Kelly were excellent bartenders and the music choices were always on point. In a city full of them, Tacicardia, the food truck on the property, has excellent breakfast tacos. The location isn’t exactly in the heart of SoCo, but it’s a short but nice walk to many great restaurants, bars, and shops. In all, an excellent experience and I could definitely see us coming back to Colton House.
