The stay was great!

Expedia did not book me the lake view room I booked. The hotel tried to put me with a view of the dumpster and garbage. I refused it. They gave me an old hill view room over the public bus stop. Not the lake view room I imagined on Loch Lomond.

Too good! Communicated time to time even before check in and made everything super easy. The studio is cute and has everything you need. Thank you for arranging everything and making the stay smooth. The common space is nice too.

Terrible service. Staff were slightly racist. No clue about allergies. Tired decor. General state of disrepair. Food overpriced and not great. Not welcoming of dogs. Breakfast overpriced and weirdly set up, with many items not available, and not enough cutlery. Can’t control temperature in bedrooms. Complimentary toiletries not Elemis, despite advertising that they would be, and having these at other MacDonald locations. Not enough plug sockets. There is a knob in the bathrooms labelled “TV speaker”, and I think this probably should give you some indication of how dated the rooms are.

The grounds was clean and beautiful, everywhere in the hotel was clean. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very polite and friendly. We stayed in the executive room, good but it would have done really well with a fridge.
