Great check in with English speaking, friendly staff. Impressed with lobby and with room. Air conditioned room with wide opening windows too. Tv, fridge, tea making, safe, hairdryer, towels, telephone in room. Comfy, clean beds. Breakfast good quality though quite expensive I thought for continental, especially as I had to pay full price for my child (12yo).
Staff helpful when I realised I'd forgotten our eu/uk socket adapter.
Overall, we had a great stay. Slept quite well. Seems a safe, quiet place but still within easy reach of Gare Midi and Brussels old town. On a street with food stores and cafes too.

I have been to many places in Belgium (and have always thought Brussels is an underrated city), but the Bedford Hotel is by far my favourite place to stay. I arrived early but was allowed to leave my luggage in storage so I didn't have to carry it around.
The staff were particularly helpful throughout my trip especially as I had to organize someone to pick up one of my bags which the front desk dealt with professionally and efficiently. They also helped me print some things I needed for my trips with no questions asked.
The breakfast each morning was a nice continental although I wish it started 15 minutes earlier as I had to catch a train really early one day so unfortunately had to skip it.
When I did check in and out, it was a smooth process. Everything you could ask for was in my room. It was very petite and cozy but I loved it. The most comfortable bed ever. The TV also has multiple language channels so everyone can watch something.

We were upgraded to a suite. This had a full kitchen and two big closets for our clothes. We had a separate entrance from the regular hotel which was a little different, but we had everything we needed for our 9 night stay. The Wi-Fi would work sometimes and sometimes not. Other than that it was clean and quiet.

Pocket Guide: Brussels Brussels Grand Place Hotels
A heart-shaped ring road defines Brussels’ city core, and most of its visitor attractions. Within these limits, the centre consists of two distinct halves. To the west is the Lower Town, a tangle of medieval streets centred on the Grand Place, a vast cobbled square surrounded by ornate Flemish buildings. To the east is the newer and more aristocratic Upper Town, a zone of palaces and parks, grand museums, and gothic churches.
