The hotel staff immediately greeted us as we walked into the beautiful front entry of the hotel. Our flight arrived early in the morning, well before checkin, but they held our bags for free so we could explore the area until we could get into our room. The room itself was smaller than other hotels I've stayed in, but with lots of closet space, so we didn't have any of the floor space occupied by bags; so it felt cozy, instead of cramped. And the furnishings in the room, like the rest of the hotel, were gorgeous.

First time I have stayed here but unlikely to be the last. I regularly stay in Brussels on business and this will be my first choice from now on. Very comfortable bed in a nicely decorated room with friendly helpful staff.

The hotel was in a perfect location...not too close to the grand place but only a nice 5min walk to it...the staff were really helpful, especially when it came to us getting home, and they were nice and friendly...the room was ideal, tad overlooked by offices but if you kept the net drapes shut this wasn't a problem...room was cleaned and tidied everyday...our only problem was that we couldn't make out the bar section of the hotel but there were 2 great bars just outside anyway to drink in...fab stay in a fab hotel!!

We arrived at the hotel (group of 4 - 2 rooms) we had specifically booked rooms overlooking the Grand Place. One of the rooms allocated was not overlooking the Grand Place as expected, we informed reception who said they had overbooked and there was not other room available. They advised us to call Expedia for a refund which we did but they were unable to help also (after a 40 min call from Brussels to the UK!!). The incorrectly allocated room 606 also had a mouldy sandwich left on the window ledge!! Nice!! The sink in this room was also damaged. Pleased to say room 602 was the other allocated room which was lovely.
Make sure you get the room you book!

Quick check in. Had to move to another room as the TV in the original room was not functioning. Second room was good but bathroom might have had some mold issues. The hotel needs to put a ventilation system in the bathrooms. We had a good nights sleep and the shower was great.

The hotel is close to the central train station and the Grand Place. The bed was comfortable and the minifridge is a plus. The staff was nice. The only thing wrong was the lobby had a terrible odor. The only window to our room opened out to the lobby so we couldn't open the window unless we wanted the odor in our room.

Upgraded on arrival we were given room 12 on the ground floor, with 2 huge beds for my Mum and I. On check in I ordered a taxi for 7am, therefore we couldn't take breakfast as it didn't start until 7, which surprised me for a city based hotel. Loved the bathroom, underfloor heating and wall fixed l'occitaine products to use, but no extras like shower cap which I needed for a shower, and despite asking for a plug for the bath so Mum could have one, it never arrived. No mini bar, or a complimentary bottle of water like you get in most hotels. We were woken at 6.10 luckily only just before our alarm, by 2 crying children in the lobby, not the hotels fault but something to think about if you're given this room. Taxi hadn't arrived by 7.05, so reception called another that arrived at 7.20 - making us late

Pocket Guide: Brussels Brussels Grand Place Hotels
A heart-shaped ring road defines Brussels’ city core, and most of its visitor attractions. Within these limits, the centre consists of two distinct halves. To the west is the Lower Town, a tangle of medieval streets centred on the Grand Place, a vast cobbled square surrounded by ornate Flemish buildings. To the east is the newer and more aristocratic Upper Town, a zone of palaces and parks, grand museums, and gothic churches.
