Reception staff were welcoming and efficient, plenty of free parking, room was large, with all the normal facilities, fridge, bottled water, tea/coffee - including a fan. Hot so, with limited opening windows, on this occasion air conditioning would have been appreciated. Hotel facilities are excellent, nice bar, lovely spa and pool with none of that tired "around the edges" mould that you sometimes see despite the decent facilities - very clean. Good breakfast and efficient check out.

Great service and super breakfast. Room small and hot and a bit run down. Relatively expensive but it was festival weekend.

Spacious apartment with well equipped kitchen: dishwasher and washing machine (incl tumbler), iron + board, hand-vacuum, hairdryer, airer, nice toiletries, good TV, comfy bed. Very thoughtful touches: tabs for dishwasher/washing machine, salt & pepper, utensils. Location conveniently close to Festival shopping centre etc. Downside: FRI+SAT very noisy from pub garden opposite showing sports games, music until 3am. SUN ok. Monday 5:45am glass recycling pick-up followed by street cleaning machine (came by 5 times - also on Tuesday). Blackout blinds or curtains would be good. I would stay again. The feel was good.

Beautiful old building, lovely grounds Would stay again

The hotel was referred by a friend who said the hotel was fabulous and the food fantastic. When we arrived we were told there was no food at all. Breakfast for £17.00 each so we didn’t agree to that. The room was good apart from the toilet which did not flush every time. The location is lovely.
