This is far from a 4 stars hotel. It looked better on the pictures than it is. The is no sauna/hammam/spa service available except for an offer 2 half-days a weeks… The breakfast was unavailable to us. It is irritating to pay the “ hotel price” we paid but to be ask to deal with removing the bed sheets and get the trash out. The pool is nice and it is walking distance from the beach and the downtown area with dining options.

Everything about the hotel was excellent! The rooms, staff, location and breakfast were perfect! Would definitely recommend!

Parking is expensive. Rooms are small.

The location of the hotel and its commanding view of the le Grand Plage is amazing. The history of the hotel as a summer palace for Napoleon explains its iconic design and presence The pool area is amazing overlooking the Atlantic

The first room #16 was totally unacceptable with damp and mold settling around the vent. Not at all what we were expecting. After complaining we were upgraded to the largest room in the hotel which is what we thought we would get in the first place. The best part of the experience was meeting the chef, Olivier Lataste who created sumptuous meals for us.
