Beaworthy Vacation Packages

A very disappointing stay. We booked a deluxe sea view (with large bay window) double or twin room via Expedia. On arrival at the hotel we did not get the room we booked and paid for. According to Expedia’s description and photographs the room we were given was a STANDARD double room for SINGLE occupancy. As the hotel was fully booked we had to tolerate this very small room with four steps up to the bathroom and really not enough room for two people. The room in no way bore any resemblance to the room we booked and paid for. The hotel blamed Expedia for shunting us into this room as all the others rooms were booked. They insisted it was suitable as a double deluxe - Expedia did not describe it as such. Expedia were at fault and have now compensated us but the hotel need to make sure Expedia are representing their rooms in an accurate way and acknowledge there is n error there. I see from previous reviews we are not the only ones to experience this. It totally ruined our stay. The valet parking is very odd - cars are parked (by staff) in front of each other so you have to ask to get your car out. We did not use our car while staying as on arrival the member of staff that parked our car failed to put our handbrake on. Fortunately we returned to the car for our luggage and realised it moved when we opened the boot. We did not trust them to move the car again. The hotel need to look at Expedia’s room descriptions and make changes.

Paid £780 for two nights in a suite. It was just a larger room than others and had a bath in the room. Lightbulbs out in the bathroom. LVT flooring was damaged and the repair job was brown tape over it. Would be seriously enjoyed if I had paid £200 for the room let alone &380 per night. Will be writing to the management for a refund . Room 304. Avoid and don’t be fooled into thinking you’re getting something special. The bed was comfortable however, it was 2 mattresses put together. Again not what you pay that money for.

Amazing place , really enjoyed our stay , staff were really friendly and would 100 percent go back .

The room was Spotless. The bed waa comfortable- pillows a bit solid for me. Bathroom good but after showering the walk in shower water covered the floor making use of basin and toilet a bit hazardous. Breakfast was good and food regularly replenished.

When we visit North Devon, we always stay here. The walks and views are fantastic, it’s a 10min drive down to Lynmouth with the shops and restaurants etc all within crawling distance.

The whole place was perfect. We loved our stay for our anniversary. They pulled out all the stops.
