"A nice boutique hotel "
Stayed at Hebasca overnight recently whilst visiting Bude. I would say it was a little overpriced for where it's located but then it is July? Upon our arrival we were greeeted by some really nice welcoming staff who couldn't be more helpful and attentive. Our room we were given faced on to the car park. I was hoping to have better views but we only stayed for 1 night so I wasn't too bothered, but I would have asked for a different room if it had been for a longer period. The room was very botique style with a very comfortable feature bed that had lovely cool cotton bedding. There was a great walk in shower room with an overhead rain shower and beautiful soft cotton towels. The room had tea and coffee making facilities with plenty of different teas and coffee to suit all tastes. There was food available in the restaurant for that evening but the menu seemed a little limited. We ate that evening in Tommy Jacks Beach Hotel which is also part of the same chain but located closer to the beach. The menu there was more extensive and the food quality was excellent. The atmosphere was much more vibrant but its because your closer to the beach, and you have a lot of the locals eating and drinking there. Overall Hebasca is a beautiful place to stay, tucked away off the beaten track, so it's not too noisy. The hotel has great attentive staff and is a great place to stay if you just want to chill. Would I stay again? Yes, if I could get the room rates down a bit.

"Birthday & Anniversary treat"
I booked a room for a Monday and Tuesday night as a treat for my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary. I wanted somewhere special and the Hotel delivered it for me. We were met on arrival and our car parked for us. The bags were taken to the room. The room was on the top floor overlooking the valley. The views of the English countryside were fabulous. The room had recently been renovated and has tea and coffee making facilities and some complimentary sloe gin (appreciated by my wife). The bathroom was equipped with the usual array of towels, soaps, shampoos and other 'essentials' including flip-flops and robes. The bathroom had an excellent shower rather than a bath which suited us. The bed was wide and comfortable. It was nice to return to our room at bedtime to find the bed turned down and the following day's weather forecast left for us. The Hotel lounges are fabulous and ideal for relaxing. You can even have a conversation with the parrot! The swimming pool is excellent and there is also a steam room and sauna attached. We spent a peaceful morning there with only a few other guests. The staff provided a map book of local walks for us. There are two restaurants so we had a meal in both. The Smiths was informal dining with good quality food and wine. The Great Western is more formal and 'silver service'. The food was excellent and the service was very attentive. Breakfast was buffet style. Quality is worth the expense so set your budget accordingly.

"Nice position in centre of small market town."
We booked to stay at The George because of the Hatherleigh Carnival. The experience was mixed. The carnival was brilliant and full of atmosphere. The George was clean and in a good position. We expected there to be noise from the Carnival atmosphere during the night. But there was a noise from the hotel that kept going on - a water system/heating or similar and it happened several times during the night. The bed was awful a very thin mattress that stood about 8" in all off the ground. Hence a bad back the next day... While having our breakfast the hoover was in full operation beside us and another employee was busy cleaning off tables. We were pleased to leave as it was not relaxing. We felt we were in the way. If you take booking appointments for bed and breakfast you have to accommodate your client. People have weekend breaks to relax and the ambience at breakfast time is important. Perhaps they should move the dining area away from the bar if they want to retain guests or process their workload after the guests have had their breakfast which after all they have paid for.

Beaworthy is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Beaworthy, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Beaworthy hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
