A great place to stay, and to eat

A lovely night at the Jamaica inn to break up our journey from the Midlands to Lands End. The family room was lovely - clean and comfortable and had all the am you need for a stay over. We had a meal in the restaurant (veggie burgers were delicious!) and a quick look around the museum - great fun! We'll definitely be back!

Interesting Inn!

Nice Inn and great history! However, check in time 4 pm and charging £20 to check in early I feel is noy necessary a good balance, perhaps a check in 2/3 pm would work better for both parties! Great food and selection of drinks! Highly recommended!

A visit to bygone times

Character Inn made famous in a book by Daphne DuMaurier. Lots of atmosphere and history of the times. Splendid room in the newish annex, comfortable bed, great food and a perfect spot to break our journey.

Another super visit, staff, food and accommodation excellent. Would like some thicker pillows in the room but that’s a personal thing. Also, It’s in a great location for travelling around Cornwall.

A very pleasant stay, marred only by the now almost ubiquitous charge for our dog. They qualify this by having a bed, treats and bowls in the room, all things we have with us, anyway. Having said that, we knew the charge in advance, so it was our choice, but it still feels like a rip off

Jamacia Inn is a fantastic place to stay ,The staff are so friendly and couldn't do enough for us.Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We had an evening meal and breakfast, both were really good.Highly recommend and will definitely return.

We loved the hotel but the food was not good. Curry was inedible. Restaurant staff were abrupt and not very friendly but I appreciate it was busy. Reception staff were lovely
