Super-friendly, helpful staff. No problems with speaking English. Was able to launder all of my clothes after the airline soaked my soft-sided luggage with water of unknown quality. The hotel was close to some nice hiking trails, and it was possible to book a "midnight sun" hike at the front desk. Both restaurants in the hotel were good, and the free breakfast was just about the best free breakfast anywhere. Swedish pancakes with a variety of toppings, and smoked salmon were available. Ginger shots for your juice! The view from many of the windows in the hotel was breathtaking. Will definitely return someday. Transportation from the airport in Kirula is either a bit expensive or a bit inconvenient depending on which option you choose. Plan ahead.

This was one of my favorite accommodations during my trip. The location is incredibly beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing, surrounded by stunning fjords that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a fairytale. I’m so glad I chose this place instead of the accommodations near the popular hiking trailheads, which were significantly more expensive. The room felt like a sanctuary—spotlessly clean, quiet, and equipped with very comfortable beds. There was also a shared coffee and tea station with a water kettle in the hallway, which was a thoughtful touch. The on-site restaurant was convenient, and the complimentary continental breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. A 24-hour Joker grocery store is located directly across the property, and there’s an EV charging station nearby, making everything very convenient. What truly made this stay special, however, was the staff. They were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and helpful. Special thanks to Martha at the front desk and the lovely lady from Finland in the kitchen, who both went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They even helped me choose some fantastic hikes in the area beyond the famous Segla trail. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It offers outstanding value, genuine tranquility, and an unforgettable fjord experience that sets it apart from other accommodations. I would gladly stay here again and can’t wait to return.
