The house was very clean and in great condition and we were able to see the northern lights right from the house which made it more wonderful 😀

Loved the property but after we left the host tried to scam us by saying we left the place without tidying up. He wanted 1000NOK/£70. I told him we videoed the entire place showing it was spotless before we left, and he quickly told us to not worry about the 1000NOK. The place was also advertised as a 3 bedroom house yet he failed to tell us that one of the bedrooms is his private bedroom and is not to be used! I would return to Finnsnes, but never to this place.

Our premium room overlooked the harbour so it was lovey to watch the boats coming & going, but was equally quiet at night. It was central for our needs, close to port dock, Cathedral, shops & restaurants. The room was clean but showing signs of needed maintenance worn carpets & chipped paintwork. Plenty of choice of breakfast food,

We stayed here on the last night of midnight sun and it was a very relaxing place after staying up late and hiking awhile. Very comfortable for my family of 4 in a family room. Delicious breakfast, kind staff, bag storage, & a comfortable lobby to wait in for our ferry. The cantaloupe was very good, which is hard to do! Thanks for a wonderful experience.
