The hotel was nice. The staff was nice. The rooms were clean. We were only here for one night and we had no issues.

I arrived after dark in the evening. Check in staff were very friendly. Only one woman and one man spoke English. They offered me a ground floor room which I do not prefer. When I got to the room it smelled like mold and the window did not lock. I requested another room above ground, which I received. No elevator to the second floor. The second room was better - the window locked! Everything seemed pretty clean, but the sheets were stained, the towels were threadbare, and there was mold in the shower. Evening room service was prompt. Breakfast was excellent. Two out of the three cardio machines in the gym were broken, but there were hand weights so not completely unusable. No free water in the room, but you can get free water from a dispenser in the gym. The pool area is gorgeous, with lots of beautiful birds around. The pool was unheated but seemed clean and swimmable, although I never saw anyone in it. Wifi connection throughout the property was strong and stable. Overall not the worst hotel, but I've stayed in much better. It's also right by a busy multi-lane road and quite noisy, but across there is a large park full of capybaras.
