Staff were really helpful, breakfast was good. Rooms could do with a bit of a refresh in places (very small bathroom) but great location, lovely decor and good value for money,

Very nice hotel. Location is amazing - you could not be any closer to shops and food. Be aware the hotel is on actual sidewalk/street that is usually closed. So if you are driving, make sure you call in advance for the code. Otherwise you have to walk all the way in to get the code. But its worth it

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very centrally located with easy access to Vieux Lyon. The rooms were clean, quiet and well appointed. The staff was very helpful. We had our dig with us and felt welcome with a comfortable dog bed and bowls provided. There is a nice riverside walk nearby to stretch his legs. We thought that the hotel was very good value for money give the amenities (lovely pool and spa area) and the quality of the service. We hope to return in the future.

Wonderful hotel and very accommodating. My daughter and I stayed for 4 nights - enjoyed Lyon and was nice to come back to the Carlton at the end of the day. Great location for sightseeing.

Clean, trouble with the key in the lock, breakfast not worth the price charged.

Really good value for money - excellent location, clean room with great aircon. I highly recommend for a short stay!
