The room was spacious and clean. The location is a bit more out of the way, but you can get around pretty easily.

Location was excellent, close to all the local attractions and just great for walking around the city. We had a loft too Which was really nice. Only negative was the breakfast, was very small offering and was never topped up.

This is an amazing hotel. Absolutely beautiful, great bar, fantastic location (right on the canal, just around the corner from Ann Frank’s house). The staff was extremely helpful on a number of occasions and the bar staff is wonderful. The room was gorgeous - we upgraded to a room with a big tub, and it was worth it. Regarding accessibility: the hotel has an elevator, but you have to climb a short flight of stairs to get in the hotel, another short flight to get to the elevator, and then another short flight once you get out of the elevator. I think there were 20 stairs to get to our room, even with the use of the lift. This was disappointing because my wife has an injured knee, but we managed. If a guest were wheel chair-bound, this would not be an accessible hotel. It’s a beautiful, historic building from the 1600s, so they get a pass, but if you can’t do stairs, be advised.

Rooms quite dated and no air-conditioning. Very basic and overpriced

Fun place to stay (on a canal), with a marvelous staff and a huge breakfast. Some great restaurants nearby (De Belhamel and Sagardi). The staircase is narrow and winding, and the elevator holds either two people or one person and a bag). Each room honors a craft; we were in The Tanner, with a great view of the neighborhood.

The digital remote was hard to work. The a/c was broken but no one told me that. I just thought the a/c was working as best it could at a poor level. The area is easy to access downtown by subway but not near any shops or restaurants.

Wonderful hotel right on the canal. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
