The hotel was remarkable for its splendid high-ceiling room, and wooden floor well maintained with aromatic oils. Dinner service is quite professional. The town of Bera is known for being the place where Pío Baroja and his famous relativos lived and died. We wished to hear the sounds of the notable organ located at the cathedral, but it was not possible fue to unavailability of Church officials. Other than the organ and the Pío Baroja house that was unavailable as well, there seems to be not much of interest to visit in Bera.

Our room was very good and had a nice view, but it was not the first room we were offered. There is a cafe where you can eat (instead of the restaurant) but we were not told about this. There were no instructions for using the WiFi - the strongest signal was one with our room number. This connected, but didn't work. After many calls to reception, we found out that we should have used the Paradore WiFi. We booked and paid Expedia. It took at least 20 minutes on check out to persuade reception that we didn't need to pay again. They seem to have multiple places they keep information, so that all interactions involved looking for something in one place, then another, then sometimes another, before they found it.

Parking was convenient, near the bus for transportation, clean, quiet, great outdoor area

Perfect spot for us, clean and convenient. We hope to be back next year!!!

Air conditioning was very weak during really hot weather.
