Just got back from a week holiday at Bahia Principe Tenerife. Excellent for people who wants a complete rest, quality time with family/ love one's. Not for those seeking exciting night pub crawl as this is haven of peace and tranquility. The place is tuck away from tempting shopping etc although taxi is cheap if you want to explore the area. Shuttle bus is provided to areas like las americas that has nothing exciting to offer (in my opinion) but dark sandy beach and loads of paella, burger and chips etc.... Oh and bars to paralyse you til morning. The food like no other has lots of choices and well thought for people who are vegetarian, carnivorous, and those who does not expect a michelin dining. Drinks are in abundance too, the hotel made sure you'll never get hungry or thirsty. The staff in all restaurants (yes, I mean it with an 's' cos they have lots) are all friendly, serving you with a smile makes a difference isn't it? Not the type that they really show they don't want to be there. The rooms were spacious, can't comment on the view of others but we had a distant view of the sea and the pool, so its a breath of fresh air each morning. The gardens, communal areas, rooms -- inside and out of the hotel were well looked after (I like seeing the cleaners in uniform, always wearing it with a smile). Entertainment for children was good. My 3 year old always looked forward to dance every evening. I definitely recommend this resort.

All the staff from reception, restaurant through to cleaners were all extremely friendly and brilliant at their jobs. Nothing is too much trouble . The hotel and the villas are beautiful and all individual and well maintained . The flowers and decorative touches are stunning and all very individual . "Good hotel with great facilities in quiet location"
We had a very pleasant stay in this 5 star resort however I would rate over all as a 4.5 star. None the less it was an excellent stay and would recommend. There are a couple of things which are superior- the kids facilities, the food, the views, the size of the hotel and its gardens and pools. There are also however a couple of niggles which we had, these were the charge for half board customers to use their fridge (which is locked) and you have to purchase a drinks plan to get access, this is only 10 euros for some water but other hotels provide this for you. The sunbed situation is another gripe. Not sure now you would get around folks reserving their plots and not using it. Also we reserved a Bali bed for a few of 40 Euro which was lovely. However we went out to sit on it at 10am and it wasn't made. We had to make it ourselves and had to ask someone for our water and fruit etc an hour later as no one had come to ask us what we wanted. Not one person came by and asked us if we wanted any further drinks etc. We were on bed 8. The water we got included in the package was warm and the fruit scewers were served on a saucer and were very small. Not great! Apart from that we really enjoyed the hotel, used the great spa and loved the evening entertainment and kids club facilities. The food was great and varied and staff helpful. We have stayed at serveral top quality hotels around Europe and this was on par with some but they do need to up their game in some minor areas

"5* luxury in Adeje "
We had a lovely stay at the jardines de nivaria- a fantastic hotel in a great location right in the centre of Adeje. It has direct access on to the beach and the row of shops and bars in Adeje. The recent refurbishment means the rooms are clean and modern but the hotel still retains the Art Deco vibe in the common areas. The staff are what make this hotel truly 5star though - always friendly, helpful and polite and we could not fault them. The hotel is aimed at the older clientele - which suited us since we are a couple with no children- but it did mean that the live entertainment was not up to much in the evenings and tended to finish around 10. But there are so many bars and restaurants in the vicinity that didn't matter to us. Whilst not an adults only hotel, there are not many children in the hotel I presume because of the absence of child facilities and kids clubs, which again suited us being child free! We stayed b&b and the breakfast was fantastic - huge choice of fresh lovely food, including super omelettes made for us every day by ana! We also enjoyed a meal at la Capula, the new restaurant in the top floor of the hotel. What an experience! Fine dining at its best with a Michelin inspired menu! Would definitely recommend. All in all, a brilliant stay and we would certainly come back for another visit.

Adeje is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Adeje, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Adeje hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
