Great hot springs. Great restaurant chef

Easy check in process, very polite, and great service and cleaned towels.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower was nice. We stay at the Aspen Suites on the Kenai and have always had good experiences. The Fairbanks Aspen is the exception, staff were not freindly and the rooms are tny, not the suites we expected. The GFCI in the bathroom didn't work, we told the staff the first day and it still wasn't fixed when we left three days later. The staff made us feel uncomfortable when we asked for two additional towels. We stayed three days and the room, we were told when we checked in that because our stay was so short our room would not be refreshed. We were not even given the courtesy to have our room refreshed if we asked. The tiny refrigerator was barely cool at the highest cold setting. Breakfast was an additional $15 per person for a fairly simple fare; cold cereal, yogurt, etc. Suggest they increase their rates by $20 and have the breakfast included for their guests.

Beautiful lodge and viewing platform of Denali. Only disappointment was the fitness center. Pretty sparse.

The views from this property are AMAZING! You definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get to it! We enjoyed the provided breakfast. Never saw any staff but didn't really need them for anything.
