We were a little surprised that we were not staying in the actual castle to start with but the room we were allocated was brilliant and had all the odd/old characteristics that the castle would have had. The staff were very attentive - could not be faulted. Would certainly recommend.

Great location, affordable apartment for a large group. Metro link directly outside the door to connect you to Newcastle. Apartment in great condition and would recommend this place. Check in was difficult as you need to communicate with host over phone to retrieve the code to access the key but apart from that it was great. Security deposit usually scares me from booking with places as i have been scammed before but rest assured there is no scamming here, with the host very kind when spoke on the phone.

Great stay! Great location with plenty of local bars and clubs. Very friendly staff. Lovely apartment and very clean. Pleasantly surprised by the kitchen utensils!
