Overall it was a good stay the room was clean.The staff was good in the beginning but at checkout the women working the front desk was rude and acted as if she didn’t want to be ask questions about the shuttles. And there was a problem with the printer I assume because I never received my receipt and she said she would email it .

We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past 15 years or so. The stay this year was a little disappointing. Pro:The hotel is older, but cleanliness has never been an issue. The rooms are always clean and beds are comfortable. Cons: There is still no daily housekeeping service, unless requested. We are many years past “covid times”, there is no excuse for this at any hotel. Every day we had to go down to the front desk and request new towels, garbage was never changed, nor bed linens. We were even told to “bring down our dirty towels”! What? There is one small functioning elevator that takes FOREVER. The “free breakfast” advertised was very sad. It used to be so good, but they have definitely gotten cheap with it. Pre-packaged muffins, cereal, eggs ( yes- packaged in water, yuck!), plain bagels with only butter and jelly offered. There was coffee and bottled juice & milk. It was the same thing every day. Certainly NOT the hot breakfast that was offered just a couple of years ago. FYI Hotel is a two block walk to the beach, but there is a shuttle offered. We have never used it, so can’t comment on that. So honestly, for $300/night for small standard room that is 2 blocks from beach, it was a little disappointing this time compared to when we first started staying here.

Our stay at the Lord Baltimore Hotel was just okay. The bed was clean and comfortable, but the room had a few maintenance issues. The air conditioning didn’t work well, and the bathtub drained very slowly, which was frustrating. The biggest disappointment was the hotel bar. It wasn’t very clean, and the margarita tasted more like spiked apple juice than an actual margarita. To make matters worse, there were fruit flies around the bar. Overall, the hotel has potential, but it needs better maintenance and much more attention to cleanliness and the quality of its food and beverages before I would consider staying again.

I think it would be more helpful if this property were listed in a different accommodation category. 1. The photos gave us a very different impression from what we experienced. We were looking for a unique or upscale hotel stay, but the property felt more like a budget short-term rental. The surrounding neighborhood did not match our expectations and did not feel comfortable to us. 2. Parking was inconvenient. Street parking has time restrictions, and we were not comfortable leaving our car there. The alternative parking garage was farther away than we expected and charges by each entry, making multiple trips inconvenient. 3. The room did not appear clean. We found dead flies on the windowsill in plain sight, and the carpet was old and had an unpleasant odor. Overall, the room did not meet our expectations for cleanliness. 4. I do want to compliment the owner for being very responsive and communicating promptly throughout our stay. Unfortunately, despite the good service, the condition and location of the property did not meet our expectations. Based on our experience, we would not choose to stay at this property again.

Such a comfortable and cute place to stay!
