They take a $100 holding deposit on check-in and it could take up to 10 days to refund!!! Tap in bathroom was loose but still worked. Just bad maintenance and presentation. Main skylit corridor to rooms smells of sewage in the evening. Beds were OK and everything else seemed OK.

A lovely homey hotel in a great location. Very quiet. Very cosy. Kind and friendly staff.

Was nice but we couldn’t control the room temp and with no opening windows it was too hot The shower would not keep the same temp would be hot or cold not much in between. Quite pricey for what we got.

Before you even arrive the staff are lovely and helpful. Check in was a breeze, greeted with a smile and an unexpected upgrade. Up to the 19th floor with magnificent views of the harbour. The room was spacious and welcoming. Usual minibar and coffee pods. WiFi worked fine and the TV had many stations to watch. There was a bath and separate rain/wall shower. The soap was Kiwi Seed and Lavender, and the body lotion was impeccable. The art work on the walls show cased real kiwi classics. The Bee Hive painting in the corridor was masterful, worth its own gallery showing. The hotel sits beside the SkyBus start point, 30 odd minutes and you're at the airport. Will we stay again? Yeah, next trip up for sure.

Excellent location in Lorne Street CBD. Escalator to Queen Street for shopping. Just remember you will have carparking to pay.
