The fact that I had to share a full size bed with my partner. We were told that we could not select a bed online and we had to settle for what was available on arrival. The breakfast was okay, however some changes could have been implemented. It was the same this for the entire weekend.

WONDERFULL PLACE TO STAY, FRIENDLY STAFF , AND VERY GOOD BREAKFAST

Ladera was truly exceptional. The views of the Pitons and Sugar Beach are simply breathtaking — easily the best on the island. We were upgraded to an incredible suite that was so beautiful it was hard to leave. The staff was exceptional — incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast each morning was fabulous, and the resort made our excursions to Sugar Beach and beyond effortless by coordinating everything for us. A spectacular property, incredible service, and an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return.

If you’re considering whether to go or not, we would recommend you go. We loved our stay here because the food was so good and the staff were exceedingly kind and generous. The resort is absolutely stunning and we received a complimentary upgrade to our room which was amazing. In terms of negatives, I will say that the bugs on the resort can be a lot, but it really depends on the person (I only got one to two bug bites but my wife got more than 20). The bug spray did seem to work when we put it on, but we didn’t always have it on us. Additionally, we went in late August when the resort was probably only at about 30% capacity, which added to the calm and open feel of the resort, so take that into consideration for the review. We also took the helicopter tour to get to the resort rather than the car ride, which was definitely worth it (and the helicopter ride was way smoother than expected). There were lots of activities to take part in, which the front desk sets up for you no problem, so we felt very taken care of. The beach was great and the restaurants were delicious, but again I’ll add that the resort was mostly empty when we were there. The weather did forecast rain everyday, but that was because we got hit with a ~5 minute rain storm each morning then it passed. It only actually rained for one of the days we were there. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely go back!

My husband and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary at Windjammer Landing in Saint Lucia, and our stay was beautiful! Our two-bedroom, three-bathroom villa with a private infinity pool was a highlight. The views were breathtaking, and we loved having space to relax and enjoy time together. The beach was gorgeous, with clear water and little fish swimming around us. We also enjoyed a couples massage, which added to the relaxation. Between the villa, the views, and the beach, we had so many moments where we simply stopped and appreciated being there. Windjammer Landing was a beautiful setting for our anniversary and gave us memories we’ll treasure. ❤️
