"Great Hotel Staff, awesome location"
The hotel is fabulous! Hotel staff make you feel like you're family! The Mango Tree restaurant is very good. The one thing to keep in mind, though, is the villa we stayed in, The Bougainvillea, is an open-air structure so much of it is screened windows and doors...it's really cool, but understand the many little creatures that are abundant on this beautiful rain-forested island will occasionally find their way into your room! I had to deal with a few of them on our trip (as I was travelling with my wife and two daughters who are afraid of anything bigger than an ant). It was NOT an issue and we all loved the villa. The view alone is worth every penny and I can say that, since we had a boat ride up along the Caribbean coastline of St.Lucia and saw just about every other hotel along the way, the view from Stonefield is THE BEST on the island! I would not describe the resort as luxurious...it is beautifully rustic and tastefully decoratorated packed with gardens and fruit trees everywhere. The closest beach, Malgretoute Beach is a short, but steep walk away, however, it's really not the beach you'll want to go to...we only visited it once during our stay...the hotel has a free shuttle to Sugar Beach was is 1000 times better. The hotel will give you a cell phone for use during your stay, which is unbelievably convenient! Book a taxi thru the hotel, stay at your destination as long as you want, call the hotel when you're ready to return...so easy! We hated to leave!!!

"Amazing Views, Accomdations and Staff"
This hotel was amazing. The food was good, staff made my experience incredible - shout out to (Marilyn with security, Chef Mandel, My personal assistant Denise and Christa), I could not have asked for a better room and view. If your looking to relax and enjoy the marina and boats, this is hotel is for you. Not far from Rodney Bay (party scene) and Castries (capitol) but far enough for privacy. I recommend this hotel. My only con is the service fees for food.

"Beautiful country, hotel and people!"
My wife and I went to St. Lucia and stayed at Ladera Resort for our honeymoon. We loved it! Such a beautiful place to relax and enjoy nature. It was also amazing to be treated with such respect and fantastic hospitality. We didn't want to leave.

Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort

"Best Caribbean resort I've ever stayed at"
The location, facilities, service & staff are top-notch. Nestled between the two Piton "domes", the lush rain forest scenery, soft-sand beach & breathtaking views cannot be found anywhere else on St. Lucia and in very few other places across the Caribbean. There are several other nice resorts on the island including 3 Sandals and Jade Mountain, but none have a perfect location like Viceroy's Sugar Beach resort. As a matter of fact, other resorts truck their guests to Sugar Beach for swimming & snorkeling (All the beaches on St. Lucia are public). I have read some of the negative reviews and these appear to be placed by people who stayed at other resorts and were not happy to discover that when visiting, our resort required payment for them to use the beach lounges & pool. They are rightfully reserved for Sugar Beach guests who are paying for them in their room rate.

"A True Getaway"
Anse Chastenet is close to perfect. Remote, private, and picturesque, it is a far cry from many Caribbean resorts that are crowded and chaotic. The staff is superb. Your happiness if their primary concern and everyone goes above and beyond to make your day perfect. Day trips and excursions are arranged with a smile. Dining is easy and the meals delicious. The beach is lovely with just enough to do. The on-site scuba shop provided by 12-year-old son with a first-rate first scuba experience; the sunset sail was gorgeous. I traveled with my three older children (12, 15, 17) and our beachside room was spacious and welcoming. We will definitely return!

"Central location, good value"
Location was great for exploring the Soufriere region. We had a rental car and there was usually a place to park on the street close to the hotel. The staff was very nice and knew the area very well. The room was spacious, clean and the AC worked well. There are no 110v outlets in the rooms but we were given a transformer and a hair dryer at check in at no additional cost. We were lucky to get a room with a view of the Petite Piton and the beach. There is a street party one block away on Friday nights with very loud music till around 1 am. We joined them instead of complaining...great street food and cheap Piton beers. Tell the beggers 'No' and they go away. The hotel has security guards on duty in the evenings. They lock the main doors into the hotel at midnight. They are still around after midnight, but it is best if you talk to them and the front desk if you plan on getting in after midnight. Wifi worked great as did the small refrigerator. There was plenty of hot water for showers and the TV worked fine. Grocery stores, the hospital, fire and police depts, Hummingbird Beach and many small restaurants are all within walking distance. All in all, a great place to stay for the price.

From the moment we arrived we were overwhelmed by the natural beauty of the grounds, our cottage was tucked away in the hillside surrounded by lush green and tropical flowers. The staff were amazing and made us feel like we were visiting close friends rather than a hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Soufriere is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Soufriere, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Soufriere hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
