"Brand new doesn't always equal perfection"
We stayed at the Hideaway at Royalton St. Lucia from 8/1/17-8/7/17 for our honeymoon. The island is beautiful and the people are friendly, and this hotel did not disappoint..mostly. We took a chance booking it before the hotel was even finished being built, as we figured it would be nice to stay in a brand new resort rather than somewhere that's been around for a long time as we've had some not so great experiences at older resorts that were showing their age. We also chose Royalton because of its adult only options, and the food choices looked good. We had a wonderful honeymoon and most of the staff were really helpful and friendly, however the main problem is they are definitely having some growing pains as a new resort with a lot of confusion in the restaurants. Overall we would recommend staying here though. Stick to the Hideaway adults only side if you want better service and food..Dorado was great we ate there multiple times.

"Second rate hotel - only nice "
Ok, so was expecting great for the price and location - it is in a prime location! Although nice it was basic. Large rooms, very authentic, wonderful hammocks in each balcony, but the inside of the hotel is more like a set of apartments, not like a Rodney Bay hotel. Has a swimming pool, timings are out though to swim. Not alot of ambiance unless you make it. Nice and quiet. Too basic a breakfast - meant to be continental- can be alot better, but again ok. Staff are limited, very early finish at night so plan ahead if you should need them for anything.

"Stunning !"
If you are looking for a home away from home in St Lucia, stay at The Landings. We had a huge 2 bedroom apartment right on the beach. We hired a car too so we could go to nearby restaurants if we fancied a change. We booked a tour of the island with Kieran who was an absolute star. Highly recommended as it was the best day of our trip. Chef George in Callaloo beach restaurant cooked up the best Caribbean meals on the island. Clean beaches and beautiful sea. Only complaint was we didn't have a clear view of the sea from our ground floor apartment because of plants in the garden. First floor apartment may be better. Other than that, we had delicious breakfasts every day and the staff were going out of their way to make our holiday great. The butler service was outstanding. We had a small mobile phone from which we could call him from anywhere on the Island if we got stuck.

Resort is beautiful. Pools are amazing! Food is just average. Beach is pretty to look at, but it's obviously man made and there is a pretty big rock a ways out from the beach that apparently could have sea urchins. The pools do make up for it though.

"Great hotel with excellent staff"
This hotel is great. The rooms are clean and they service twice a day. The staff is AMAZING. They seriously make the hotel stay worth while. You have beautiful views at all times. The only bad thing are the mosquitos, but that's not the hotel's fault--but definitely bring bug spray if you're prone to getting bit.

"Amazing Views, Accomdations and Staff"
This hotel was amazing. The food was good, staff made my experience incredible - shout out to (Marilyn with security, Chef Mandel, My personal assistant Denise and Christa), I could not have asked for a better room and view. If your looking to relax and enjoy the marina and boats, this is hotel is for you. Not far from Rodney Bay (party scene) and Castries (capitol) but far enough for privacy. I recommend this hotel. My only con is the service fees for food.

"Living on the economy"
When I travel, I prefer to live in the country and experience local hospitality. Espoir is that. Being local, the money stays in the country. The food is easily the match of nearby resorts (and quality dining internationally) and the staff all the more personable. I'm visiting the island for work. Though I would have liked a desk in my apartment, this is where I will stay next time. No question.

Gros Islet is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Gros Islet, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Gros Islet hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
