There was a misunderstanding on booking on my part as I was not sure what days I would stay in Arequipa, The staff bent over backwards to a accommodate me and help me out. The place is really nice and close to points of interest.

The hotel is in a great location. It is clean and front office staff and the manager are very helpful. However, be aware that “courtyard” view is really a room with a window to a small foyer with glass roof. The hotel (like many hotels in Arequipa) doesn’t have AC. They do provide a fan on request that is fine, if it it’s not too hot outside. The breakfast they offer is not great. After first day we used the restaurant next door, Oso, which is great.

This was a great hotel. Near the plaza but without all crowds. Breakfast was ready each morning at 6sm with many options. The front desk staff was always helpful and courteous
