I loved this hotel. I stayed in Villa 10 with a private patio and a plunge pool. The room was spacious, everything worked and having the private patio with the pool was so nice. One thing: if you’re going to get a room with a plunge pool, keep in mind that there are a lot of trees around and while the staff does its best to keep things clean, there will be leaves in the pool (including the big pool) especially when it gets windy. With all the greenery, keeping stuff out of the pool is an exercise in futility so it shouldn’t be something to complain about. The staff is so nice and whenever I needed something, it was done. The one thing I would change about the suite I was in: it would be nice to have a small table in the living area. There’s a stove and a fridge but nowhere to put food on. Same for the patio, a side table for the lounger would be nice. The breakfasts were great. I don’t understand the complaints about small portion sizes. Everything I had was more than enough. The rooftop bar is great at sunset and service is excellent. Same for the restaurant and the bar by the main pool. The reception and cleaning staff are great. I needed a relaxing vacation and this place delivered just that mostly thanks to the great staff. For the surrounding area, it was so nice to have a huge supermarket across the street and so many great restaurants walking distance. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe walking around.

The location was ideal for biking to downtown or the beach. It is a small property with a great staff. A superstore is within a block of the hotel and we were able to stock the mini frig with cold drinks. Many food options within a few blocks. I would recommend this hotel and it was perfect for our needs.

We stayed for 3 nights in March 2025. Our room with the jacuzzi/pool outside was nice. Our room pool outside can be cleaner. Also missing some crucial details you normally expect in a hotel room, a full length mirror is not found in the v room. There's no gym for this hotel which i know but i just asked for a yoga mat which seems like a normal thing most hotels provide they just straight out told me no. We had no water for 2-3 hours one afternoon and was not given notice. When we inquired they said they were doing maintenance and it would be back in 10-15 minutes. Fair enough. But we waited almost 3 hours, we just came from the ocean and early could use a shower. They were polite but didn't try to do anything to compensate. Overall it was OK for the price but i would not stay there again.

Definitely worth the price! The hotel is beautiful and you cannot beat the free breakfast. Get the chilaquiles! The rooftop is also very fun and we loved the plunge pools. Our room was clean and beds were comfy. We only had one problem with the water leaking out of the shower area into the outside kitchen area, even with the door shut. Hopefully they fix the door to the shower so it doesn’t keep happening. Overall, a great stay

I loved the property itself. Workers were somewhat friendly. Disliked loud music everyday at 2 pm to 10 pm. Disliked internet and electric kept going out. Rooms do not have chairs to sit on.

Hotel was average for the price. Staff only spoke Spanish (no english) and rude to us on most occasions. Food in restaurant for breakfast was below average; no seasoning, no flavor, not as fresh (stale bread). Rooftop pools were not well maintained - dirty. No lights to our room (Villa) and up steep stairs in back corner. Barking dogs in neighbours across road entire time we stayed day and night. Not in a good part of town at all. Do not recommend if you're going for a relaxing, immersive experience in culture and food. Far walks and drives to any good food spots or beach clubs. (20min )

Location is very walkable to the city amenities. Grounds are well kept. If you like a very hard bed, then this is the place for you. We really struggled with it. The villas are lovely and roomy… but the thatch roof is not sound proof at all and there’s a lot of traffic noise at night, barking dogs and music in the area into the night. Housekeeping missed our room one day, but overall were efficient. Fernando at the desk is fabulous, friendly and helpful.
