This was a 2 night stay. A last minute trip to go to shows at The Enmore & at the Opera House. Reasonably easy to access from Central Station, but I'd recommend the walk from Erskineville station. ( Google maps took me to Newtown Station which was a more complex route) The staff are all welcoming and friendly. Easy check in at the bar, & you receive a drinks voucher for either the Erko bar or Fleetwood Macchiato across the road 😘 It's a hotel: there are steps to the accommodation area The room was clean and comfortable. There are multiple bathrooms, so always a toilet or shower free when needed. There's also a kitchen, so boomers like me can make their porridge and earl grey first thing. I stayed during the early stages of the soccer World Cup, so the bar was super busy in the evening. It's a dog friendly venue. All the rooms are named after local doggy identities. Just be aware not to tread on anyone's tail after lunch. A short walk to the Enmore for shows. Very close to King Street for all the shopping and transport offerings there. Erskineville train station is a few hundred metres away & Newtown train station is an easy walk too. This was a really fun stay.

Good breakfast, good shower and good sleep. I would book again.

First night someone activated the fire alarm so we’re woken to an alarm but our level wasn’t evacuated, was abit confusing bc we could see people lining up on the street looking up in the building and a fire truck turn up. The shower also didn’t have a screen or even a curtain to keep the water contained to the shower so the bathroom was constantly soaked. The pull down chair on the wall of the shower was also very mouldy underneath which was concerning bc it was easy to wash off with the shower head.

I asked for a quiet room it was probably the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in when I asked if I could be moved to a quieter room the reception just gave ear plugs , also the room smelt cannot find anything good to say about this hotel , also very overpriced !
