The condition of standard rooms are not what they have in pictures. They are extremely dirty, old and falling apart. The bathroom door was severly smashed then repaired with lumpy mud. The toilet had black rings and staining even on the seat. The furniture was in bad repair. After long conversation, late into the night, we were moved to a suite with 1 bed rather then the 2 I booked. And it was in newer condition but still lacked cleaning. The bathroom door was swollen at the bottom and did not have a latch on the handle so there was no way to close door. They blamed this renovations but that is not a fair excuse. If the rooms arent up to basic standards they should not be rented out. Cleaning has nothing to do with renovations. The gentleman helping me out was very kind and it was clear that he did what he could to help.

The pool is closed and drained and looks like it’s been like this for a while. Room had a smell, had to go buy lysol and Febreze. There was a cockroach in the room before we checked out in the morning.

This hotel is a total dump. My 8 year old granddaughter said it looked like a roach motel. The pool is closed and we didn't get notice until the day before. It was not easily noted on the site we booked on, but rather in tiny print at the bottom with all other areas indicating pool was open and available. Construction fencing all over the property. Rooms Stink. There was NO parking later in the evening. The hotel host look like she crawled out of bed in her wrinkled clothing and disheveled overall look. This was one of the worst stays we have ever had in my life. We came down for a nice overnight stay and wanted to relax and enjoy, but we ended up staying away from the hotel as much as possible. The owner and management company should be embarrassed. They will come back and say things are under repair, but there was no activity on-site to indicate they were doing anything currently but renting out as many rooms as they can and offering the least they can to the guests. DO NOT STAY HERE- TOO MANY OTHER NICE PLACES IN TAMPA AND SURRONDING AREAS!!!! DIRTY, RUDE STAFF, AND JUST GENERALLY NOT AN ENJOYABLE PLACE TO STAY.
