Unfortunately the dining room and bar were closed during my stay, which I wasn't aware of when I booked the room.
Additionally there was quite an intense smell of damp around the entire hotel.
In my room there was a large damp patch of carpet by the bed that didn't go away during my stay. To the credit of the staff, they supplied an industrial fan to help dry it. Unfortunately this didn't work very well, and the floor remained quite wet. The room smelled of damp the same way the common areas of the hotel did.
Also there is no warm lighting in the rooms
Good value and comfortable but cigarette smell through vents not good!

During my stay at the hotel, I had a few unpleasant experiences:
• There was a bad smell in the hallways, similar to that of a restroom, which was very disturbing. We reported this issue to the reception twice, but no action was taken.
• There were no slippers provided.
• The mattress was uncomfortable as it was made of two separate pieces.
• The pillows were extremely thin, uncomfortable, and practically unusable.

The staff were very friendly. Check out seemed a little slower than it needed to be.
We booked this almost a year out for New Years Eve 2024 & it was a great price. Staff were very helpful in storing our luggage before check in as we had an appointment nearby. It’s an easy walk to transport options. The room was large, very clean & the bed was very comfortable. Loved having a balcony and it was a very quiet location. We would definitely recommend it & would book it again in the future.
My children and I enjoyed our stay. The staff were so friendly and very accommodating. They always greeted us when we left or returned. The walls in the rooms were a bit thin but we are not light sleepers so we were not bothered by it. The room was small but clean. We would likely return again given the chance!
This has become my go-to accommodation venue when I come to Sydney. I truly appreciate the scale (as in it's not a huge hotel), the location, the ambience, the efficiency, the friendliness, the thoughtfulness (a bin for recyclables, yes!) and the key provisions (why doesn't every hotel provide a box of tissues?). I'll certainly be staying there again.
The short walk from the paddys market lightrail was amazing!

Staff at the hotel are wonderful and very helpful. The hotel is in a good convenient location not far from Central station. If you’re booking this hotel because it mentions Laundry facilities, you will need to look elsewhere. No laundry facilities are available on-site. Laundromat within a 10-minute walking distance (near central station)
Older property which has been renovated. Very clean and staff were helpful and friendly. Large rooms. Quiet area but walkable to public transport including light rail. Couple of nice eateries in near proximity.
