This is an awesome budget motel in the heart of Downtown Gladstone. The hotel is quaint and clean. I felt safe there. The room had everything I needed; A/C worked great and the fridge was ice cold. I loved and would absolutely stay again.

The room was newly renovated and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The location in general was very good and our view of lake Michigan was pretty cool. The pool looked nice although we didn't use it. We really wanted to use the hot tub but it was not operating. The staff was friendly and there was a nice little free continental breakfast in the lobby. The Roku TV was a bit complicated (for streaming) but we ended up figuring it out; I imagine that some folks wouldn't have been able to.

The room had an awful mystery odor. We had to go and get air freshener. The toilet was not attached to the floor. Did not have extra rolls of toilet paper. We had to go to the desk to get one. Went to check out and get a receipt and no one was at the desk. Rang the bell and after a few minutes someone came out and they were in their pajamas. We would not stay there again

Did not find it worth what we were charged

Not the most up to date place to stay, but beds are comfortable. Room was clean, other than paint splashed on the sink and counter top. Air conditioning worked. Room (with double bed) was quiet. Good for the price paid.

I truly want to give this property a good review but I have to give it a “meh”. Would I stay here again? No. The man who checked us in was indifferent bordering surly. Not a good start. The room was in poor condition. Lots of rust and peeling wallpaper. We got a tiny bar of soap wrapped in paper intended for both handwashing and showering and two small tubes of shampoo/conditioner. We ended up going to Walmart and bought some shower gel for bathing. The halls smelled funky. But sometimes that happens and it may not be the hotels fault.

Having a balcony with the lake view was just what we needed! We stayed 2nights. We got to wake up to a beautiful sunrise also! Restaurant was delicious! Coffee shop was very good, lots of options and breakfast options. We went golfing, and to the beach. It was such an enjoyable stay, and having access to the bikes was perfect! Highly recommend

The toilet leaks, causing water on the floor that smelled like urine, the shower curtain was too short and leaked water on the floor, they gave us a handicap room which we didn’t need or want
