Such a disappointing stay. I booked with such high hopes but was met with a dirty, disgusting hotel. Even how I was greeted by the reception, no enthusiasm, no smiles just my name, card on file and gave me my room key. As I entered the first room it was beyond disgusting. I immediately called and requested to change my room. It smelled like damp wet clothes were left in the room. I was informed someone will come to see the room and get me a better room. The manager(I believe) came with a new key card. When I asked if she was going to see the room and my complaint she stated “ leave the door open, I don’t need to see it, your new room is up there” at which point I was shocked that she wouldn’t even see what my complaint was for. The next room was just as dirty and I realized nothing was going to be clean in here. I spent most of my stay outside and tried to come as late as possible to get some shut eye. I managed to get 2-3 hours in before waking up and rushing out to get married. As I was checking out the receptionist never asked if I enjoyed my stay, she just said “ Thank you for the key, your done, enjoy”. Talk about customer service. Never ever coming back!

I reached out to the manager to notify them of a situation and did not get a response. This is what I said: the toilet in my room became clogged after normal use and overflowed, causing water to spill into the bathroom and hallway. As a result, I had to be moved to another room in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, the situation was handled in a way that caused further discomfort. No towels or floor protection were provided, which meant I had to carry my heavy luggage through dirty water, leaving my shoes and belongings wet. This was not only unpleasant but also unsanitary. I had asked the engineer and staff to bring me towels. The staff expressed frustration and when he brought the towels, plopped them in a pile that I couldn’t reach. I expressed that I couldn’t reach and the point was so I didn’t have to walk through dirty water and he just walked away. They were scraps and were quickly absorbed by water aside from the fact I couldn’t even reach them. While I understand that plumbing issues can happen, the response should have ensured my safety and comfort. I believe the hotel could have done more to assist me during this disruptive experience. I was also rushed to get out, it is my hope that I left nothing. Especially in the bathroom which was full of water making it inaccessible for me to gather all of my things with a clear mind. The new room I was given was dirty however no other rooms available or could be cleaned late at night

Too be honest it has lost that special feeling of being excited to stay there. The price was good and the lowest I have ever paid over many years. Parking has double since we were last here. We used to enjoy the buffet breakfast not any more. We didn't check out the pool but the last time it just looked empty and dead. Sorry to say this hotel has lost its touch and the only reason we would stay again is for the price that was cheaper than the rest.

Weekend trip

Oh wow, we had another great time. Bartender Maricio was great. Terrance the cook came out and he told us about the salmon with pilaf rice and vegetables that is a great meal. He was not wrong, it was the best salmon I had in a while. He was great talking to the guest. Have not seen that in years. Wish they had a buffet breakfast for the guest for a fee. But we had a blast.

My stay was good overall, but upon checking in, the WiFi password was never given to me, I wasn’t told that I had to swipe my card to go up to my floor, and there was no houseman or engineer on staff to address my clogged bathtub. The guy from the front desk had to come upstairs and address it. It was a busy holiday weekend.

The property was nice but the room could use a little maintenance. I noticed some scratches and dinginess on the furniture. There was only one rag for two people. They had continental breakfast and if you wanted a breakfast sandwich you had to pay for it
