Entryway and shared area are really dirty. The rooms were thankfully not as bad. A lot of fabric everywhere...

Just returned from a three night stay, everything was as great as it could be, helpful friendly people, nothing was too much trouble. Our only criticism is their sister hotel could do with some staff training, service was as good as being at fawlty towers. However idle rocks was perfect !!

The Queens is a traditional lovely building which is perfectly located. The outlook view over the Promenade and sea is special. is It is however, in need of some TLC and modernisation, but it does have wonderful character. The beds are very comfy and rooms are clean, quiet and tidy. The staff were very polite and hard working, but might do with a few more waiting staff as they were non stop. The free parking is a bonus and is centrally located. We had lunch there, and the food was very good especially the desserts. All very delicious.

Excellent
