I would choose to stay somewhere else if I went back to Trondheim. We had been traveling around Norway and staying in amazing places so far, and we’re really looking to our stay here but, walking into a small room that was unnecessarily cramped with furniture and to then find a ball of hair on our bathroom floor, which can happen but, after explaining what had happen and nicely asking reception the next morning if someone could come and clean the room properly I was really disappointed to comeback in the evening to find the room untouched. We had to ask again for someone to come and clean and they were very apologetic and offered us complementary breakfast ( Wich was the best thing of our stay- and totally worth the 30$ it normally costs), at the end they cleaned our room and it was all fine until we wanted to go and enjoy the terrace that they had advertised so well as the biggest selling point to us, to only find that there was nowhere to seat all the furniture was piled and locked making it impossible to spend time there. And the cherry on top was to buy a glass of wine at the bar and for the glass that it was served in to be full of soap stains. So, yes, a big disappointment for our last place in Norway.

A spartan room, only the bare necessities. No drawers or other storage space. Beds squeezed together. Hardly enough room to turn around. The beds were comfortable, the staff was generous with towels. If I had known how rudimentary it was, I would have chosen a more luxurious hotel or a superior room.
