Springbank Vacation Packages

This was a great hotel in a great location. It's in the CBD but just off the main streets enough to be quiet. I could easily walk to the Southern Cross rail station, the Vic Market, and tons of other fun places. It is also super close to lots of busses and trolleys so getting around was really easy. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a huge array of options - pastries, cereal, eggs, sausage, pancakes, toast, beans, potatoes and more. So tasty. The property was clean and staff were friendly and accommodating. I felt safe and secure as a solo traveler. The only (minor) downside was that there was no view. It's a tall building surrounded by other tall buildings, but I'd rather go out and enjoy the city than see it through a window anyway. All in all, I would definitely stay there again and would enthusiastically recommend it to friends and family.

How many hotels turn the fridge off so your drinks are hot until you work it out and do not supply milk for coffee. But gave me powered milk when I asked for milk. How cheap is that. Unbelievable.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived early at around 12 pm, and were given an early check in which was great as we had been up since 3 am to catch public transport to melbourne. The room was nice, the bed comfortable, have stayed here a few times now and would definetly stay again

Great location and excellent staff

Check in was a bit shambolic after a long flight. It was eventually resolved to our satisfaction. Breakfast started badly with ice cold plates and our order of poached eggs was somehow misconstrued and unfulfilled. All other items were of high-quality and standard. We will probably return in the expectation of better service

Room was amazing

room cleaning was hit and miss. towels were replaced but the sheets were not changed and on two occasions dirty cups were not changed there was much evidence of housekeeping in the hall but not much action in the room - a couple of times we returned after two or three hours and the room had not been serviced The location is absolutely excellent and the room is surprisingly spacious The pillows were comfortable and the airconditioning/heating was easy to operate and performed appropriately reception were happy to supply more milk and clean cups when requested but we should not have had to ask Proper mugs, not tiny cups and a slow closing toilet are always a great find in a hotel
