Great stay! Highly recommended!

We love the Metcalfe and choose to stay here as a treat even though we are local. The beds are super comfy, the bathroom is spacious and clean with good products. The restaurant is good (although very busy so do consider a reservation for breakfast even if a guest). The only thing is that the room we were assigned (for the second consecutive stay) is a bit loud as it is right beside the housekeeping cart which is kept outside the room almost all the time. Beyond that, a great hotel and a relaxing staycation - this time around for a show at the NAC which is right around the corner.

Beautiful hotel. Unfortunately we got a room that had some noise from the nearby kitchen fan but front desk team was very helpful, especially Alwin, in getting us a quieter room. He also offered access to the buffet breakfast for the inconvenience. Unfortunately the breakfast was not very good. Lobby was beautiful and rooms were updated which was great.

C’est la deuxième fois que je séjourne dans cet hôtel. Lors de mon premier séjour, j’avais une chambre moderne avec une salle de bain récemment rénovée, ce qui avait rendu mon expérience très agréable. Cette fois-ci, j’ai malheureusement reçu une chambre beaucoup plus ancienne. La salle de bain n’était pas rénovée et une odeur désagréable était présente dans la chambre, ce qui a nui à mon confort. C’est dommage, car mon premier séjour m’avait laissé une excellente impression. J’espère que l’hôtel pourra offrir une qualité plus uniforme entre les chambres ou au moins informer les clients des différences lors de l’attribution des chambres.
