This place needs remodeling. Stiff towels, hallways dirty. Restroom smells bad and sink water does too. Ac was not working good. Room hand a smell. Gabriel gave us an upgrade but we still had some issues.

The staff at this property are absolutely wonderful. Very kind and welcoming. The property is beautiful and well kept. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only criticism would be around the food which left something to be desired.

The food wasn’t the greatest. They didn’t really have a lot of options as well as most of them were closed certain nights. My overall stay was nice, but definitely would say the dining options as well as breakfast options need improvement. The food was not good.

The staff was terrible rude. Since the bartender on the pool, security and the front desk (night shift) somebody threw up all over the hand wash at the bathroom and we told the security and they blame us and after that they take us to the lobby very rude way and very prejudiced way. Was a terrible experience and very price day pass to you can get

Beautiful property with super nice, accommodating staff — service was top-notch, and they even upgraded us after a small room issue. Pools are fantastic, and the swim-up bar has great drinks and quick service. The big drawback is the food. Most of it is disappointing, with the buffet being the only halfway decent option (and even then, choose carefully). Taco night is good. The specialty restaurants are a waste of time — the Italian was the worst I’ve ever had, and the Asian wasn’t much better. For a good meal, head into San Jose where the food is amazing. This hotel really needs to consider getting a new executive chef because if the food situation was fixed, they’d have a real great resort that I would return to.

The staff was friendly at Crystal Grand and cater to your needs. The front desk assisted with our Customs scanned form we received at the airport. She assisted on their computer and made paper copy for us. It was nice to have Expedia Rep. Omar on the property. Even though the flight and transportation ran late. Omar double checked our itinerary and picked up the phone in front of us and communicated all our transportation times and communicated any changes. This made all the difference stress free piece of mind.
