Great stay at the Dolphin Hotel We had a great stay at the Dolphin Hotel in Beer. The staff were polite, friendly and very helpful throughout our visit. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well looked after, and the breakfast was freshly cooked and really enjoyable. Everything was just as you would hope for from a comfortable, welcoming hotel. All in all, a great stay. If we’re in the area again, the Dolphin Hotel would definitely be our first choice. Highly recommended!

We were greeted with a handshake which is always a good start. Our hosts, Neil and Rosemarie were welcoming and eager to make sure our stay was a good one. Our room was spacious as was the bathroom and shower. We were pleased with the coffee machine and the fridge on the landing for the cold milk. The small touches are what makes this hotel a special one. The bar downstairs proved popular to watch the world cup and we appreciated the hospitality during the evening. Breakfast was cooked to order and taken on the deck. The swimming pool was excellent. Car parking is easy and plentiful. One small point is that we would have appreciated a fan in our room which was very hot. Given the extremely high temperatures we are all experiencing it might be something to consider for the future. Otherwise everything was absolutely fine and of a very high standard.

Great location in the centre of Lyme Regis. Good size comfortable rooms. Great breakfast, good food menu selection, good selection of local ales. Plenty of parking on site but can be a bit tight for manoeuvring when the car park is full.

Great location and fresh comfy room

A Hotel run by a very established family as top quality family oriented hotel. The staff are fantastic, the building is well cared for and the guests are made to feel like they are part of the same family. Can't fault them.

Great location, super staff, wonderful breakfast, very comfortable bed, well appointed room. Would happily recommend and stay again.
