The Buffet Breakfast was excellent and the staff most helpful. Unfortunately, the Hotel is undergoing renovations and so the Television wasn't working and the hotel was inclined to be a little noisy. I believe that when folk of 70 plus years apply the hotel should advise that showers are in the bath and are not "walk in" showers

Beautiful estate in Paarl. It actually has its own vineyards, and wine. Beautiful rooms. Would love to enjoy the hotel in summer. Their pool looks wonderful. Restaurant was superb. Perfect hotel to enjoy the ambience of the Western Cape

The hotel room was beautiful bed was really comfortable. It was stylish and I could not fold it. It was a great breakfast and the staff at the front River very hospitable very friendly. It was just a short walk down to the city centre and an easy drive to get to the wineries and parking was no issue. Highly recommended to anyone going there.

Excellent location. Lots of restaurants within few minutes walk . Very high temperatures in Stellenbosch but air conditioning in hotel very good. Staff very friendly and helpful and everything you need in room including microwave. Very good breakfast.

The location is excellent - right near Kloof st. The hotel felt very safe. My room was quite large and had nice amenities. However, the property felt more like an upscale hostel than a boutique hotel. There was constantly noise coming from downstairs (music, party sounds, etc). If that wasn't enough, the fumes of fried food from the restaurant below permeated my room. Between the oily smell and the noise, I did not sleep particularly well.
