"NICE HOTEL/LOCATION...BUT..."
The hotel is nicely placed close, but not too close to the town centre... Set in its own grounds it is pretty idyllic. However, the groundsman starts work rather early and their motor mowers make a bit of a din, especially when trying to catch up on jet-lagged sleep. I especially asked for an air conditioned room, due to my hayfever....sadly I did not get this, even though I even asked for confirmation at the reception of A/C. The room was not unduly hot but I needed filtered air...a pity.

One thing could certainly be improved. My room had a walk in shower, the controls were were dreadful so hard to balance to get the correct temperature. It was either too hot or cold. If the lever kind were fitted, not only are they so easy to use with no danger of scolding oneself, they can be turned on and off so quickly thus saving so much more water.

"Good for local visits"
Would have appreciated being told about upgrade possibility at time of checking in. Likewise that it might take 4 weeks or so to have card refunded with deposit. Room keys were a disaster and very rarely worked twice. Fortunately I had a fit child with me to run up and down. I could not have done it. That said, staff were friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated Vincent (French) in the restaurant. He took great care of us; clearly liked and was liked by children and was instrumental in my grandchild not wanting to come home and wanting to come back here. (The other great attraction was the pool!) I will remember to book a room nearer the reception next time. Dodgy hip and breathing problems made 266 rather a long hike.

"Needed overnight stay and had a dog with us."
Found this hotel the night before we stayed there, looked good and took dogs (very important!). The hotel was busy, had a busy but pleasing atmosphere, and staff were helpful and friendly. We ate in the pub (dog under the table) and enjoyed a few glasses of wine. Rooms were a good size and quiet. The hotel provided what we needed.

"One night stop over"
A simple hotel. It's not a £300 per night Spa so sensitive types should look to spend a bit more if they want that kind of hotel. At £80 per night for the double room, which was a good size actually but tight shower room I found the hotel to be comfortable and reasonably priced. The hotel was clean, comfortable, with friendly staff who were courteous and a nice breakfast.

"Excellent hotel"
Looking at the hotel for possible use as a venue later in the year. Very good short stay, at a very good price. Hotel is convenient for transport links and local attractions.

"Great location "
We have stayed in a number of HDV's and have enjoyed the Group. However the room we had here was no bigger than a box cupboard and was an insult and not value for money. The bathroom was ridiculously small and our stay was spoilt! Please check your room size before your stay!

"Elegant hotel, first class staff"
Had a great 2 night stay. Recommended by a friend. Didn't disappoint. Beautiful exterior, and elegant interiors, felt like walking back in time. Notably helpful and friendly staff. Walked to all local attractions from the hotel, including a pleasant walk to Beachy Head. A filling full English buffet breakfast included and dinner at The Garden restaurant was good too. Don't miss out on a cream tea, but book if you can - wanted to have it in the Great Hall, but it was full. Rooms a little dated, but added to the charm.

"beautiful old manor set in quiet countryside"
arrived by train to a small country train station, which was closed (a holiday day?) with no public phone with which to call for a taxi. Nice local couple gave us a lift to hotel! (we had no cellphone) Regal old Manor turned into hotel so need to ask for help with luggage up the stairs (no elevator) room comfortable, bathroom good. Views of the gardens and the grounds spectacular. the décor and furnishings also impressive. I enjoyed walking around and admiring the rooms. Staff pleasant. Ate in the Bar room. Food good but waiters were absent from room for a good while. They had a large wedding party staying at hotel, so not enough staff for everyone? great breakfast room with choice of cold or hot breakfast.

Robertsbridge is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Robertsbridge, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Robertsbridge hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
