We loved our time at the Sterling for our anniversary it was great and look forward to our next visit

We enjoyed the hotel and property. It was very disappointing that the cold plunge was out of order.

Staff was unfriendly and did not properly address loud party in next room over that kept us awake til 2:00am. Will not stay here again.

We had a great time. We got a two bedroom, it was inexpensive, clean, and comfortable.

I waited 10-15 minutes at the front desk to check in. The front desk was basically unmanned. There were other guests in front of me waiting as well. They left to run other errands. I don't recall seeing anything in the description of the property indicating the property was not ADA compliant, although the hotel is in fact an actual decommissioned river boat, so probably a technicality due to the fact you're basically staying in a museum. My room was neat and tidy, but small. The ceiling height is only 7 feet and the doorways are only about 6 feet tall, and very narrow. The bathroom was a throw-back, functional but small and narrow. Oddly enough, the floor was tilted. You noticeably were walking uphill from the room front door to the other side of the room.... very odd. The shower was very small, and the water temperature controls were old-school- one hot, and one cold. The hot water was scalding hot, so be careful! The internet worked well, but the available TV programming was very limited. My biggest concern was the ice in the bar had a noticeable after-taste, which caused me to skip eating in the restaurant entirely. There were other guests in the restaurant so this might've just been my issue.
