"Wished we'd tried here earlier!"
We've traveled the SoCal to Washington long-haul more than is probably healthy, and we usually stop in Roseburg before the final push up to Seattle. Our price point is right around 100-120, and we usually look for an included breakfast, and a pool is a definite plus. That said, we've just never stumbled along this place using our travel search engine, although we have driven past it with a "hmm - let's check it out next time type of thought". But, then, of course, we'd forget about it until it was time to make the drive again.
Well, tonight was our lucky night, I guess! So far, we've just checked in, but we're pretty excited to check out the cook-to-order eggs tomorrow, and my girlie is all excited to hear that there are pancakes. We are also very ready to jump into our suits and check out the pool and spa. The late pool hours are quite nice, and adult swim time at 10:30-12:00 am sounds like a great way to wind down. Beds are a bit hard, but definitely sleepable, and the bedding is on the cozy side.
My daughter was really thrilled that we passed a McDonalds on the way in, so add that to the plus column. Happy Kindergartner, Happy Life. Unless, of course, you're more of a Burger King family. I certainly wouldn't tell you how to live your life. Well, I guess I would, since I'm writing a review for a hotel...
The price seems really reasonable given the offerings, we've definitely paid more for less. Overall, a very nice place to stop on the long haul up 1-5!
