Torel Terra Brava exceeded all expectations. The staff was phenomenal. The room was immaculate and the breakfast was the best I’ve had in years.

Lovely apartment, spotlessly clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Town of Angra is very pretty, plenty to do for a week on the island.

Lovely modern hotel about 15 minute walk from the center of Angra. Having on-site secure parking was super convenient. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast very good. I would absolutely stay here again on a return trip and will recommend Shipyard to friends. I also had an excellent dinner in the restaurant.

Amazing place to stay!!! Nothing was too much trouble! Deborah was so welcoming and friendly, as was the housekeeping! Lovely pretty, quiet location, easy taxi access to local landmarks and tourist destinations! Pool was so relaxing to cool down and relax in! The lodge itself was beautiful with wonderful finishing touches and attention to detail! Would definitely recommend!!

Nice comfortable Hotel, reasonably priced. Staff are very helpful. The.pool and spa are a good bonus. Location is excellent for walking.

As many reviews have stated, the hotel is dated and definitely beyond its prime. The location is nice and close to Angra, the breakfast buffet is okay, the pool is nice for families (not ideal for a couple or romantic getaway), and the views are great. The hotel needs upgrades and quite literally has a "if you need repairs, call this number" in the bathroom, yikes. Our room smelled of smoke everyday from the nextdoor neighbors and it radiated through the vents. The hallway and stairwell is creepy and smells of the gym, sweat and rubber and bleach. It is not a luxury hotel or traditional 4 star experience, but serviceable.
