Solid Choice for Cave Creek

Found this hotel last minute looking for something to do for a birthday weekend without driving too far. Very reasonable rates for such large rooms. Each room is a complete 2 bedroom suite with their own bathrooms. Kitchen was fantastic for making dinner and cocktails. The grille in the common area was clean and worked great, too. Pool area is OK - pretty small for how many guests the property will attract on a weekend. Nice that it stayed open late. and it was generally pretty quiet despite all of the kids running around. Very close to town, so easy access to lots of great restaurants and places to waste money on trinkets. Certainly a great find for us. We will definitely be back!

Everything was outstanding! Staff was friendly, professional and SO HELPFUL. Pool was beautiful, grounds are well kept and beautiful. Front desk was wonderful. The suites are clean, well stocked and make being away from home feel like HOME.

No extra Toilet paper close by

The hotel was wonderful. The only thing is that we were told by text no room service but someone came in and made the main bedroom and threw out the trash. Only problem was that they took the toilet paper roll and not replace it. The extra toilet paper was not near the toilet room so I had to yell for help. I didn’t notice that the toilet paper was not there until afterwards.

This was our 7th stay, going back to 2014. While not ruling them out for future plans, things have trended downward in the past decade. All cost-cutting or reason-based, I’m sure, but reduce the overall visit. In-room jacuzzi’s have been removed (tubs remain). This recent stay, all extra furniture in the bedrooms had been removed, leaving large empty spaces where chairs once stood. Staff was (always is) great, but the trend, overall, is not in a positive direction.

Beautiful resort!

Unplanned visit to Cave Creek and found Rancho Manana. So glad we did! Incredible property-especially the pool area! The 2 bedroom king was huge! Tonto's Restaurant was delicious. The only negative is due to Arizona's dark sky law, the buildings do not have lit signs so it's impossible to know where you are going after check-in. We had to go back to reception and they got a maintenance man to show us the way. The signs for the golfers stay lit, so it makes no sense. It's pretty stupid. They surely can figure out a solution. Other than that, I highly recommend!

The property is very scenic and the decor in the resort rooms is simple yet beautifully themed for the area. The only issue we encountered was my wife attempted to use the blanket which had hair from prior guests on it, that was unpleasant. Our front desk manager, Christina, was very welcoming and polite and efficient. Our unit #23 was well appointed and very clean. We stayed here, years ago on our last visit, and it seems since Hilton took it over, the amenities have been slightly upgraded. We were impressed by the Viking gas stove. The beds were very comfortable and furniture was newer and comfortable in the great room area. The seal on the front door peek window could be better as the slight gap allowed for insect intrusion at night. Otherwise we were very pleased with our stay. Thank you!
