Car park is an additional cost and there is no alternative but to use it - no street parking. It’s also inadequate - there were no spaces when I tried to park and the receptionist just said there was nothing she could do as they don’t own the car park. If that’s the only option for guests, I don’t think that’s good enough.

A pleasant stay in Newcastle

A two night stopover while dropping our daughter at uni. Staff were fantastic, all of those we spoke with were very helpful and just nice to chat with. The room was fine. Breakfast decent and dinner in the restaurant was good too. The price was very reasonable.

Staff were great, breakfast was excellent, shower was very good, amenities were terrific. The location is on a busy road so there was some noise and the room felt a bit neglected in that there were a few bits of wear and tear, the extractor fan rattled loudly, the tv tended to freeze and the usb charge point was dead.

Excellent stay....

Our stay was fabulous from start to finish.... Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and well appointed...clean and comfy too (house keeping were very attentive) . Breakfast was very nice and the staff in the restaurant really friendly and attentive too.... The hotel was clean too.... we thought it was really good and would stay again if we were here again. Thanks.

Handy place to stay. Lovely staff. The car park meter couldn’t get it to work but the guy at the front desk set it up for me there instead. Very clean and nice walking distance to the city centre. Only thing is the bed was a bit too soft and room quite warm. I’d defo come back though.

Decent hotel, if a little pricy.

10 minute walk from the town centre is very convenient. The hotel was okay, the staff where nice but the duty manager was a little curt with me when I lost some money in his broken pool table.
