A Little Disappointed

Hotel was clean and very convenient for access to Prudential Center for my Grandson's graduation. But I was disappointed in t wo aspects of the hotel support for guests meal needs. On the night of our arrival we asked the desk clerk about where we could get food. He handed us the order menu for a food food delivery service. We ordered and the food was good but. expensive. It wasn't until the next morning when we found out that there was handout that listed the nearby restaurants that could be walked to within a few minutes. Second, I have stayed at many Courtyards and enjoyed a very nice breakfast. This hotel only offered a coffee bar with a VERY LIMITED choice of cold cereals and only a few pastries.

The hotel serves as a comfortable place to stay. Rooms are good size with large bed and a pull out bed. Gym is clean and has your basic options and cable machine. Hotel area is not far from Time Square and MetLife (around 25min from either with no traffic). The immediate outside area can be a little less than appealing, but never felt unsafe especially with the hotel security at entrance.

My wife and I stayed may 15-16, a total of one night and we were very disappointed. The employees were not hospitable or helpful. The size of the room was nice I will say, however the cleanliness was not up to par being there were still hairs in the shower. They charge 30 dollars to park your car with the stay. We were in town for a funeral which is why we needed the room but we will not book again!

Heads up: NO SHUTTLE and $30/day parking. Bad experience with taxi driver...I'm Dominican and he was Haitian and he started getting political and saying we are bad people. Couldve avoided if a shuttle were available. As soon as we parked and I opened the door, I was greeted by a local asking us to move becaaue his boys were parking there: hotel is basically in the hood. As soon as you get in, you're in the typical Marriott world...welcome to New Jersey 😆

While close to EWR it was not convenient to enter the property. It seemed entering from a narrow door on the 3/4 floor of a parking garage and then faced with two flights of stairs is not friendly to people with disabilities.
