Clean warm room, with great shower and a lovely breakfast . Perfect for me .

Overall the property could do with some maintenance in the rooms, the staff were excellent and very helpful when we had an issue with the shower. The food & drink was very good but expensive but generous portions

Property was very clean, staff were helpful, breakfast very nice

The outside of the building could do with some updating but inside was fine apart from the dirty and cracked window. Plenty of kitchen equipment and comfortable seats and bed. Shower room was lovely and towels provided. Nice garden to sit out and have a drink. Overall a nice stay.

Staff were great!

The standard double room was very basic and in need of some TLC. The breakfast room was very pleasant and the Scottish breakfast was very good. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Perfect location for exploring The Royal Mile and close to the Waverley Station when we were headed to Aberdeen and on to Shetland. The breakfasts were yummy and the rooms lovely. Book the upper floors if possible, however, as there can be a little bit of noise from the pub. The staff were helpful and friendly 😊
