The hotel is very close to the Central Station. The hotel itself is undergoing refurbishment but the facilities on offer are perfect for a break. Our room had a kitchenette which we didn't need but its there in case you do. The staff always recommended where to go and how to get to the different tourist sights. From the hotel you can easily walk to Marienplatz or even a bit further but the underground system is extensive so its easy to get around. All in all a perfect hotel for a weekend break.

Book a Alpine room. It's a bigger room with A/C, which is convenient in the summer. Stayed 4 nights with breakfast. No coffee maker but there's a Starbucks infront of hotel and many other cafes and restaurants nearby. Walk to the city center, biergarten, landmarks ...or take a tram/bus/metro located next to hotel to everywhere.

Staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating. Hotel room was a nice size but the T. V. was old and the wi fi was slow. Bed was comfortable enough although classed as a double room was two singles pushed together. Nice location near the main train station and within walking distance of some nice areas of Munich. Would stay again.
