Motosu Vacation Packages

場所、設備、清潔度において大変良かったです。また宿泊したいです。

The location is few steps from the Meitetsu railway station. Very convenient for trains to and from Central Japan International Airport. The ambiance of the hotel felt like being in the 1960’s. Typical of many Japanese hotels. It was clean, and everything worked. Staff all very polite and gracious. My stay included breakfast which was adequate. Good view of the city from the 18th floor restaurant. Perfect for my need of somewhere to stay for one night.

Be aware travelers with family especially with minors, this is NOT the place you want to stay. I was mislead by the description on Expedia. It says a “couple hotel”. It’s actually a love hotel. I guess if it serves as its intended purpose, it’s ok. Otherwise it’s not. Plus it’s in a remote area. If you don’t have a car, you will have to walk 15 minutes + to a nearest gas station and get gas station food there, the walk back. Me and my teenager had to check out after one hour and taxi to a hotel at Kuwana bus station. Taxi was about 3000 yen. I basically lost my one night hotel money and the hotel refused to refund. Expedia stuff was helpful trying to help me get refunds because of misleading descriptions, but the hotel refused. I rarely write reviews but this time I feel like obligated to do so. I don’t want in the future other traveling family to get the bad as I did. I strongly urge Expedia to do something to make the hotel change its descriptions.

The most hospitable staff, especially the Japanese front desk staff! The rooms are well maintained, although I am not a fan of the strange, bouncy "tatami" floors (and the small dead roach in the bathroom area was a bit shocking). I love the drinks lounge with the gachagacha capsule machines. The meals were amazing and fun!

Solo stayed and the staff was proficient enough in English to help me with my stay. Room cleaning is every other day unless you request, which is no issue they always provide an extra set of towels on the door even if you request for no housekeeping. Free items like comb, toothbrush and toothpaste, bath towel for you to take at the front desk. Luggage forwarding is an option to send suitcase to next hotel for a fee. The coin laundry on 14th floor and you can monitor the progress of each machine to know when each machine is free to use or when yours is done as well
